The Life Cycle of a Frog

There are five stages in the life cycle of a frog.  The first stage is the egg. The female green frog lays thousands of eggs at a time. This is called a frog spawn. They lay the eggs in jelly. They take a few days to hatch.

When they hatch, a tadpole comes out.  This is the second stage. First, the tadpoles will eat their old shell.  Then they will also eat algae.

Tadpoles are the strangest stage.  Soon the tadpole will grow two strong back legs.  The tadpole is going to need to swim even faster then a fish or it will eat it.  Soon it will turn into a froglet.

The third stage, the froglet, is the first to breathe. The froglet is exactly the same as a frog, but it has a tail.

At last the froglet will turn into a frog. This is the fifth stage.  The frog has developed a sticky tongue to catch flies. The frog can walk, but it can't wait to jump!

Scientific Inventions

The car is a scientific invention that makes a big difference in my life.  It's a dirty machine.  It moves us different places. And the TV changed my life. I can't imagine anything more scientific than watching electricity move. And the bath - you turn the wheel and water comes out. You can wash yourself. You can play with toy sharks.   All of these are good things.

Hawaii Trip

the little tiki gift I got
Our family has a tradition that when you turn 12 you get to go on a trip.  Isaiah (Isaiah is my older brother) chose Hawaii. There are different islands in Hawaii.  Isaiah went to the big island so my grandma & grandpa babysat me and my brother Jakob.  We got 5 days with them and gifts, too.

TWO OF THE RIDES I WENT ON AT KNOTTS

At Knotts Berry Farm, I went on lots of rides. Let me tell you about two of them I went on. First let me tell you about timberline twister. Pretty much the whole ride you're going up and down and up and down. And you're going pretty fast. The next ride I'll tell you about is called wipeout. You spin so so so fast.

GHOSTRIDER

I went on a ride called Ghostrider.  It was made out of  wood.  The drops were amazingly big.  Since it is made out of wood, it is pretty jerky.
